- October 2002-2004: Practitioner’s
Diploma in Crystal Therapy. Vantol College of
Crystal Therapy, Surrey, England
- February- May 2002; Certificate
in Indian Head Massage. EOS School of Professional
Training, Bournemouth.
- 2005; City & Guilds Teaching
Diploma in Adult Education, Stage 4, Reading
Adult and Community College, England.
- September 2005: Usui Shiki
Ryoho Reiki Master, Beverley Chilcott, Berkshire,
England. My first Reiki initiation was in March
2001.
- September 2005; Pre- &
Perinatal Massage Therapy, Edinburgh, with Carole
Osborne-Sheets. Carole was recognized by
the AMTA Council of Schools as the 2008 National
Teacher of the Year, a high point of 35 years
as a somatic arts and sciences educator.
- November 2006; Paramana Doula
Course, London, with Dr
Michel Odent. Dr Michel Odent is the French
obstetrician, author and animated lecturer,
who is world famous for introducing home-like
birthing rooms and birthing pools to maternity
hospitals. He now collaborates research from
all over the world about the effects of birth
and the first year of life on adult behaviour.
- December 2007: Pregnancy Yoga
Module. Auckland Yoga Academy. Theory and practise
of pregnancy yoga teaching.
- 2008 to present, Birth
Works International Childbirth Educator
Programme. Due to being so busy running the
Bella Mama massage studio in the city, I have
not yet completed this course. I shall be qualified
in 2011.
- 2009; Hypnobirthing Teacher
Training in Christchurch. I have chosen not
to teach this method of birthing and will be
focusing instead on the Birth Works material.
